Slender: The Arrival
- Length: 2 hours
The Slenderman craze has died down over the last few years, though some things are incapable of staying dead. For example, Slender: The Arrival, which is just as much fun to play today as it was when it first released back in 2013. While dated, Slender: The Arrival offers classic “cat and mouse” gameplay where you’re stalked by a mysterious figure with evil intentions.
Similar to P.T., the audio convinces you that Slenderman is always lurking in the area. Every time you turn around, you’re convinced he’s going to be standing there waiting to pounce, which offers a nice level of tension from start to finish. In Slender: The Arrival, you’re all alone. No one is coming to help you, so what do you do? Run, hide… whatever you can to survive.
Slender: The Arrival can be completed in 2 hours or less, and right now, it’s also on sale. If you buy the game on Steam before November 1, you can get it for $1.49 (USD). It’s not free, but it’s pretty close. If you missed out on the Slenderman fad or want a little bit of nostalgia, creep your way through the woods in Slender: The Arrival!
