Highest Alpha Damage Heavy Tanks - Tier 9
Type 4 Heavy
The Japanese Type 4 Heavy tank is a Tier 9 vehicle that offers incredible alpha damage with its 14 cm/50 3rd Year Type gun. The AP rounds account for 600 alpha damage with 249 mm of penetration, and when you consider the frontal armor of the hull and turret clock in at 250 mm of thickness, the Type 4 Heavy is starting to look like a monster. In the event you want to forgo penetration, slap on the 15 cm/45 41st Year Type gun and you’ll be looking at 1,100 alpha damage from a HE shell.
E 75
The German tank lines really find their feet with the Heavy tanks at Tier 9. The E 75, when mounted with the 12,8 cm Kw.K. 44 L/55, can blast away at enemies with 490 alpha damage and 246 mm of penetration. It even has a top speed of 40 km/h, making it absolutely zoom around the map and get into strong positions quickly.
Mauschen
Another Tier 9 German tank, this time the precursor to the terrifying Maus – a tank that takes knowledge to destroy. The Mauschen can equip the same gun as the E 75 and offers the same alpha and penetration. In the event you cannot decide between the two tanks (the E 75 and the Mauschen) consider whether you prefer speed over armor. The Mauschen is slower, but it boasts thicker armor all around.
