The Russian-bias fails when it comes to Russian Heavy tanks and their engine and fuel protection. Sure, Russian Heavies offer some of the best Heavy tanks for noobs, and have some of the best frontal armor and gun power in the game, allowing them to take a hull-down position with ease. But catch them from behind, and you better get the marshmallows ready because it’s bonfire time.
The KV series of Russian Heavy tanks are one of the most susceptible to catching fire. Their rear armor is laughably thin for a Heavy tank, and all the flammable parts are stored in one little section that if hit correctly, will result in one of the most promising tank series turning into molten slag.
