While there are a number of good-looking alternatives to your handiwork, the new colorful tools and outdoorsy tools can't be crafted so you're faced with the question of whether they are worth buying. Animal Crossing: New Horizons colorful tools and outdoorsy tools
You'll spot colorful tools and outsdoorsy tools in Animal Crossing: New Horizons after Nook's Cranny undergoes its first major upgrade. This happens at least 30 days after you've constructed the store (with 30 of every resource) and have a combined total of 200,000 bells in purchases and sales made. Mabel also must have visited your island at least once, though the Able Sisters shop doesn't need to be built.
Once you've got the Upgraded Nook's Cranny built, you'll spot a few new additions to the sliding cabinet in the little nook (ha) at the right side of the store. Alongside extra slots for wrapping paper and umbrellas there are now eight tools of varying designs and quality available to buy every day.
These are: the colorful nets, fishing rods, shovels, watering cans and slingshots; the outdoorsy nets, fishing rods, shovels, watering cans and slingshots; as well as a special category for each. The special category tools include colored fish fishing rods, colored star nets, printed-design shovels and colored elephant watering cans.
None of the colorful tools or outdoorsy tools can be crafted, so you won't find DIY recipes for them, and they all cost 2,500 Bells each and sell for 625 Bells, so there's no sense in trading them. In addition, they all have the exact same durability as your standard crafted tools: 30 uses for fishing rods and nets, 100 uses for shovels, 60 uses for watering cans and 20 uses for slingshots.
It's probably only worth getting the colorful tools or outdoorsy tools in Animal Crossing: New Horizons if you're flush with cash and want to pimp your look a little bit.
Now you know how to get colorful tools and outdoorsy tools in Animal Crossing: New Horizons will you still be picking one up? Even if it has the same durability?
