Happy Earth Day! To celebrate in Animal Crossing: New Horizons hedge recipes are being given out to add even more dashes of green to your island.
A number of new island vendors, visitors and museum extensions are planned for the next few days, as Animal Crossing celebrates what Nintendo are calling Nature Day. And one important addition are the hedges and shrubs you can now decorate your paths and meadows with. To start making your roads greener, you'll just need some DIY instructions, and here's how to get the Hedge fence recipe in Animal Crossing.
How to get the Hedge fence in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
If you checked your mailbox as you stepped out of your front door this morning, you may have noticed Tom Nook asked you to come and see him to learn more about Nature Day. Those who manage to get into Resident Services without being lured into buying Shrubs from the visiting Leif the Sloth may have already learned what the deal is, but if you were distracted by the pretty bushes then here's the score:
Nature Day will last until May 4 and brings with it special Nook Miles+ reward activities. These are only available after you've progressed far enough through the game to unlock the Resident Services building and are accessed by going into the Nook Miles app and hitting the + button.
If you talk to Tom Nook he'll ask you to complete at least one of these limited-time Nature Day activities before you get a special reward. In our experience your first will simply be planting a shrub, any shrub, so now you can go talk to Leif and buy some plants from him. Plant your first Shrub starter somewhere and claim your Nook Miles+ reward, then head back inside Resident Services to talk to Tom Nook.
Once you've completed a single Nature Day Nook Miles+ activity, Tom Nook will give you the Hedge fence recipe in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, to help you spruce up your paths.
Now that you know how to get the Hedge fence recipe in Animal Crossing: New Horizons you can head out and make all the hedge mazes you want! To find out more about what's happening in Nature Day and future ACNH events, check out this guide.Load Comments
