Hitman GO is free on Android and iOS

A must-have mobile game for Hitman fans.

With COVID-19 quarantines still very much necessary, companies have begun offering incentives and forms of relief for people stuck at home including Square Enix who’ve decided to make Hitman GO free. Prior to this, Hitman GO cost $5.99 on both iOS and Android, so it’s exciting to hear you can now experience this fun mobile game free of charge.

It’s no secret that people are playing games now more than ever as COVID-19 quarantines urge people to stay inside at all costs. To further this cause, Square Enix put together a Stay Home and Play promotion with big discounts on a wealth of Square Enix titles.

If you’re not in the mood to spend money right now, Square Enix has added to the Stay Home and Play initiative by making Hitman GO free for both Android and iOS users. Normally priced at $5.99, you can now download and play Hitman GO free of charge. All you have to do is visit Google Play or the App Store, find Hitman GO, and install it.

Once it’s installed, you can dive into the mobile entry to the Hitman series. In it, you play a puzzle game where your assassination skills are put to the ultimate test. It’s kind of like SUPERHOT where, when you move, your enemies move as well. You’ll have to figure out their patterns and use the landscape around you to become the ultimate assassin.

It’s a bit like checkers or chess, and is a fun way to pass the time. For example, if you’re waiting for your friend to hop online and join you in a game, or are laying in bed unable to drift off to sleep. Seriously though, Hitman GO is a lot of fun and with it being completely free to download, we highly recommend giving it a try. Worst case scenario you don’t like it and can easily uninstall it and try something else.
