You can pick up Shells on your beach in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and either use them to craft DIY Recipes, or sell them at Nook’s Cranny for Bells. For most Animal Crossing players, selling them is the way to go as it’ll clean up your beach and net you some quick Bells in a pinch.

If you’re short on time, or you’re on a Mystery Island and need to take a few more things back with you and are wondering what to prioritize, knowing all of the Shell prices can be a huge help.

To make things easier for you, we’ve listed all of the Shell prices in Animal Crossing: New Horizons below from cheapest to most valuable.

  • Porceletta - 30 Bells
  • Cowries - 60 Bells
  • Manila Clam - 100 Bells
  • Sand Dollar - 120 Bells
  • Sea Snail - 180 Bells
  • Venus Comb - 300 Bells
  • White Scallop - 450 Bells
  • Oyster Shell - 450 Bells

We also want to add the Hermit Crab to the list, even though it’s not part of the list of Shells. When picking up Shells at night, you may stumble across a Hermit Crab disguised as a Shell. If you’re able to net a few Hermit Crabs, you can sell them for 1,000 Bells a piece.

After reviewing the list of Shells and how many Bells they’re worth, it’s clear that you’re going to want to keep an eye out for the Giant Clam and Pearl Oyster over ones like the Sand Dollar or Sea Snail.
