So you’re jumping into Valorant and laying down the headshots. Talking to your party is great and all, but what if you need to trade some smack talk with the enemy team or, heavens forbid, congratulate them on a good game? For that, you need to learn how to chat to all in Valorant. Follow the guide below and you’ll be dropping the obligatory GGWP with ease each game.
How to chat to all in Valorant
You can chat to all in Valorant by pressing Shift Enter instead of just Enter to bring up the chat. You can also type /all at the beginning of a message, but honestly who has time for that? You can tell which chat you’re currently typing into by looking at the words in brackets which precede your message. As you might expect, (Team) is a message to your side only, while (All) goes to the enemy team as well. (Broadcast) refers to the automatic messages played when a player requests a gun or buys one for another player.
It’s worth noting that if you want to say GG to the other side after a game of Valorant, you’ll need to be quick. Games close very quickly and when you’re on the scoreboard, it’s already too late. All the stats are displayed after disconnecting from the game, so wish the other side well before you get dropped out.
Now that you know how to chat to all in Valorant, make sure you use this powerful knowledge responsibly. Try not to be a dick in the chat, because goodness knows we already have enough of them in online gaming.
