Guess what day it is? Xur day! Every Friday, Xur appears in Destiny 2, resulting in questions of where to find him and what sort of Exotics he’s selling for the week. If you’re new to Destiny 2, Xur is an Exotic goods vendor who appears at randomized locations in Destiny 2 every Friday. By finding Xur, you can speak with him and browse his inventory of Exotic gear.
Xur’s inventory refreshes every week, so if you don’t see anything you like this week, you’re free to save your Legendary Shards and try again the following week. Because Xur’s location changes on a weekly basis, finding him can become a bit of a hassle. Fortunately, Xur stays put at his chosen spawn location from Friday until Tuesday, giving you plenty of time to seek him out and buy Exotics.

Where to find Xur in Destiny 2 - April 3, 2020

Every Friday, Xur spawns at a random location to sell off some of his Exotic wares. Xur will typically cycle between areas he’s previously visited. While this can make it easier to guess where he’ll turn out, it’s still a pain to have to go through each potential spawn location in order to find him.
Note that if you search for Xur before his spawn time of 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST), you may miss him even if you correctly guess where he’s going to spawn. When Xur officially arrives in Destiny 2, he’ll stay put for a few days and will sell Exotic items in exchange for Legendary Shards.
If you want to buy something from Xur, you have until Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST) to do so. After Tuesday ends, you’ll need to wait until the following Friday to buy items from Xur. During the week of April 3, Xur can be found on IO in the Giant’s Scar area located to the south of Terrabase Charon inside a small cave.

From April 3 until April 6, Destiny 2 players will be able to meet Xur at the location listed above. Interacting with Xur will enable you to browse through his updated inventory of Exotic gear. Because Xur’s inventory refreshes each week, it’s totally ok if you decide to pass on the items Xur has on offer this week as he may have what you’re looking for the following week.
In addition to Exotic armor pieces for Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans, Destiny 2 players can purchase one Exotic weapon and a Fated Engram from Xur. Want to know what Xur is selling this week? Below, we’ve put together a list of all the Exotic items sold by Xur from April 3 to April 6 in Destiny 2!
- Hard Light (Exotic Auto Rifle) - 29 Legendary Shards
- Orpheus Rig (Exotic Hunter Leg Armor) - 23 Legendary Shards
- Stronghold (Exotic Titan Gauntlets) - 23 Legendary Shards
- Contraverse Hold (Exotic Warlock Gauntlets) - 23 Legendary Shards
- Fated Engram - 97 Legendary Shards
In addition to Exotic armor pieces like the Stronghold gauntlets, Xur has a Hard Light available for purchase. It’s been a long, long time since we’ve seen the Hard Light show up in Xur’s inventory. If you don’t already own one of these bad boys, we highly recommend picking one up while it’s available in Xur’s inventory.
Again, after Tuesday, Xur’s inventory will refresh and there’s no telling when we’ll see Xur with a Hard Light again. After perusing Xur’s inventory this week, what are your thoughts?
