To get Bolt Cutters in Resident Evil 3, you simply need to keep playing through the main story. After you head out onto the street, Carlos will tell you to find a way past an alley that’s on fire. Head the other way, down through the Donut Shop and then enter the Subway Office (lit by the Kite Bros sign). In here you’ll find the Fire Hose and a locked up Shotgun. Take the hose back to the alley that’s on fire and douse it.

With the fire out, you can walk through and open the mechanic shop at the end. Inside you’ll find the Bolt Cutters waiting neatly for you on the wall. We recommend grabbing them, then backtracking to all the areas you didn’t unlock, as you can grab the Shotgun, the blue jewel and more in this area. They’re all well worth picking up, so don’t miss your chance to grab them early!

Now that you know how to get Bolt Cutters in Resident Evil 3, you can continue on with Jill’s mission. Say hello to that Nemesis fella for us, would you? We hear he’s a very lovely chap. For more Resident Evil 3 guides, new and features, head on over to our game hub by clicking here.
