The first thing you’ll need to do in order to change your island flag in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is to unlock Town Hall. If you’re uncertain how to do this, we have a guide that outlines all of the steps you’ll need to complete to open Town Hall. With Town Hall unlocked, head inside and speak with Isabelle at the counter.
