Saharah is Animal Crossing: New Horizon’s resident rug dealer, though they also have mysterious flooring and wallpaper for sale. Everything you purchase from Saharah is random, meaning you never know what you’re going to get.
That said, you can specify whether you want a small, medium, or large rug. You also know that if you buy mysterious wallpaper or flooring you can display it in your home, gift it, or sell it.
Sometimes you can recoup your Bells, or make more Bells than what you spent, but you can also end up losing Bells. It’s a gamble. For pricing, we’ve listed everything sold by Saharah in Animal Crossing: New Horizons down below.
- Small Rug: 1,000 Bells (earn 1 Exchange Ticket)
- Medium Rug: 1,500 Bells (earn 2 Exchange Tickets)
- Large Rug: 2,000 Bells (earn 3 Exchange Tickets)
- Mysterious Wallpaper: 3,000 Bells or 5 Exchange Tickets
- Mysterious Flooring: 3,000 Bells or 5 Exchange Tickets
You can only purchase one of each item from Saharah per day including rugs, wallpaper, and flooring. If you want to get the max amount of items possible per day, you’ll need to purchase a large and medium rug to earn yourself 5 Exchange Tickets.
You can only use these Exchange Tickets with Saharah.

When you have 5 Exchange Tickets in your possession, you can trade them in for a Mysterious Wallpaper or Mysterious Flooring in addition to the one you purchased for the day. Again, everything you get from Saharah is random.
We were lucky enough to unlock some cool digital flooring for our goth house by buying Saharah’s mysterious flooring, and we snagged a few cute rugs as well like the blue one shown in our header image.
Saharah doesn’t appear at any specific time or day, it’s totally random. With that in mind, be sure to fully explore your island every day and keep an eye out for Saharah.
