It’s everyone’s favorite day… Xur day! Every Friday, Xur returns bringing with him questions of where to find him and what Exotic items are available for purchase.
If you’re new to Destiny 2, Xur is an Exotic goods vendor who appears at random locations in Destiny 2 every Friday. By finding Xur, you can speak with him and browse his inventory of Exotic items.
Xur’s inventory updates every week, so if you don’t like the Exotics you see this week, you can save your Legendary Shards and check back with Xur the following week.
Because Xur’s location changes each week, finding him can be somewhat tricky. Fortunately, Xur stays put at his chosen spawn location from Friday until Tuesday, giving you plenty of time to find him and buy Exotics from him.

Where to find Xur in Destiny 2 - March 20, 2020

In Destiny 2, Xur acts as an Exotic goods vendor who spawns at random locations every Friday. Xur typically cycles between areas he’s previously visited, though it can still be time-consuming to visit all of Xur’s potential spawn locations in order to find him.
Something else to keep in mind while searching for Xur is that you won’t be able to spot him until Friday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), 6:00 p.m. (BST) or later. If you arrive too early, you may miss Xur even if you’ve correctly guessed where he’s going to spawn.
Once Xur appears in Destiny 2, he stays put for a few days and sells Exotic goods in exchange for Legendary Shards. If there’s something you want to buy from Xur, you have until Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST) to do so.
After Tuesday ends, you’ll need to wait until the following Friday to meet up with Xur again. During the week of March 20, Xur can be found in a cave located in the Giant’s Scar area of IO to the south of Terrabase Charon.
To get to Xur, you’ll need to spawn into the Giant’s Scar area, then hop on your Sparrow and head northwest. Keep an eye out for a large cliff area. When you find it, approach it and look for a small cave opening. Inside this cave, you’ll spot Xur. You can also check out the video embedded below for a visual example of where you need to go.

From March 20 until March 24, Destiny 2 players can visit Xur at the location outlined above. Speaking with Xur, you can browse through his updated inventory of Exotic items. Xur’s inventory refreshes every week.
If you’re uninterested in the items Xur’s selling this week, you can save your Legendary Shards and try again the following week. In addition to Exotic armor pieces for Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters, Destiny 2 players can purchase one Exotic weapon from Xur every week along with a Fated Engram.
