How to get Bolt Cutters in the Resident Evil 3 demo

To get Bolt Cutters in the Resident Evil 3 demo, you need to reach the Donut Store. This cafe is down the street and some stairs after you make your way to the surface. It’ll be pretty obvious thanks to the giant donut on the roof. Kinda hard to miss, y’know? Take out the zombies out front or dodge past them, then head inside.
From the doorway, turn left immediately and walk into the narrow area with a door on your right. Enter it to find a safe room. You can’t save during the demo, but instead you’ll find some handy Bolt Cutters on the box in the back right corner. They're even the same lovely bright red as Leon's were in Resident Evil 2. Who knows, maybe it was even Jill who left them for him. How thoughtful.

Once you’ve grabbed them, you’ll probably want to backtrack up to the street you just came from. There’s a store here that’s locked with chains. Now that you’ve got the Bolt Cutters you can unlock it and head inside to find some high-grade gunpowder, a first aid spray and a Mr Charlie doll. Neat. Hold on to the cutters as you’ll need them again shortly to progress.
