Where to find Xur in Destiny 2 - March 13, 2020

Xur's exact location this week and a list of the Exotic items available for purchase.

It’s that time of the week again, Xur day! With the return of Xur comes questions of where to find Xur and what Exotics he has available for purchase this week. For those new to Destiny 2, Xur is an Exotic goods vendor who appears at random locations in Destiny 2 every Friday.

When you find where Xur has decided to spawn, you can browse through his inventory of Exotic items. Xur’s inventory updates every week so if you don’t like the Exotics on offer this week, you can save your Legendary Shards and wait to see what Xur is selling the following week. Because Xur’s location changes every week, finding him can be a pain.

Fortunately, Xur will remain at his chosen spawn location from Friday until Tuesday, giving you plenty of time to find him and stock up on Exotics. To make things easier, we’ve put together a guide explaining where to find Xur in Destiny 2 and a list of all the Exotic items he has available for purchase during the week of March 13, 2020!

In Destiny 2, Xur serves as an Exotic good vendor that spawns at random locations every Friday. Xur will typically cycle between areas he’s visited before. Despite this, it can be fairly time-consuming to visit all of these potential spawn locations in order to find him.

Something to keep in mind while searching for Xur is that you won’t be able to spot him until Friday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), 6:00 p.m. (BST) or later. If you arrive too early, you may miss Xur even if you’ve correctly guessed where he’s going to be. Once Xur appears in Destiny 2, he’ll stay put for a few days and will sell Exotic goods to anyone with enough Legendary Shards on hand.

If there’s something you want to buy from Xur, you have until Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), 6:00 p.m. (BST) to do so. After Tuesday ends, you’ll need to wait until the following Friday to find Xur again. During the week of March 13, Xur can be found at one of his regular haunts inside the Tower Hangar, though it’s been a while since we’ve seen him here.

To reach Xur, head to the Tower then make your way over to the Hangar area. Inside the Hangar, head past the Dead Orbit vendor and up a flight of stairs. At the back and to the left, you should be able to spot Xur. Confused? We’ve also embedded a video below that shows exactly where you need to go.

From March 13 until March 17, Destiny 2 players can visit Xur at the location outlined above. When you meet up with Xur, you can interact with him and browse his updated inventory of Exotic items. Xur’s inventory refreshes every week, so if you’re uninterested in the items he has on offer this week, you can save your Legendary Shards and visit Xur again the following week.

Along with Exotic armor pieces for Warlocks, Titans, and Hunters, Destiny 2 players can purchase one Exotic weapon from Xur every week along with a Fated Engram. Curious to see what Exotic items Xur has available for purchase this week? Below, we’ve listed all of the Exotics sold by Xur from March 13 through March 17 in Destiny 2!

  • Coldheart (Exotic Trace Rifle) - 29 Legendary Shards
  • Lucky Pants (Exotic Hunter Leg Armor) - 23 Legendary Shards
  • Ashen Wake (Exotic Titan Gauntlets) - 23 Legendary Shards
  • Chromatic Fire (Exotic Warlock Chest Armor) - 23 Legendary Shards
  • Fated Engram - 97 Legendary Shards

Along with Exotic armor pieces like the Chromatic Fire, Xur is selling a Coldheart this week. In our personal opinion, the Coldheart is one of the better trace rifles in Destiny 2, though it all depends on your personal preference. If you don’t already own a Coldheart, there’s definitely no harm in adding one to your inventory!

After looking at Xur’s inventory this week, what are your thoughts? Are you planning to buy a Coldheart, or are you more interested in stocking up on Exotic armor? Let us know in the comments below!
