Yes! Call of Duty: Warzone is fully cross-platform. Crossplay is supported in Warzone from the get go, and it seems Activision has gone out of their way to enable as much support as they can. According to the Warzone blog, you’ll even have unified progression between differeent version of the game, and anyone who owns Modern Warfare will also have access to all of the Battle Pass items, Operators and customization from the core game. If you don’t own Modern Warfare, anything you do unlock in Warzone will be carried over should you chose to purchase it.

What we don’t know right now, it what form cross-play will take. Naturally there are some hesitations regarding throwing PC players in with those using console controllers. Warzone says it follows Modern Warfare’s systems, which means it’ll give players the option to opt out of crossplay. If you’re on console and play with PC players, you’ll even be able to connect a keyboard and mouse to even the odds.

So there you have it, Call of Duty: Warzone is cross-platform and supports a pretty comprehensive crossplay and cross-progression package. Hopefully that helps, as you now know you can safely jump into games with your friends, no matter where they choose to play. Whether or not they can help you out of the Gulag is another matter entirely. Check out our game hub for more tips, tricks and news for Call of Duty: Warzone.
