For the quickest method to get Tommy’s Matchbook in Destiny 2, all you need to do is purchase the Season of the Worthy Pass. It’s that simple. Anyone who picks up the pass for the upcoming season will get the Tommy’s Matchbook exotic auto rifle immediately when Season of the Worthy launches on March 10.

Don’t worry if you can’t afford to splash out on the pass yet though, you can still get Tommy’s Matchbook. Instead of receiving it immediately, however, you’ll instead need to grind your way up the free pass until rank 35, at which point you’ll unlock the tasty new drum wheel weapon.

So to summarize, the two ways to get Tommy’s Matchbook in Destiny 2 are to purchase the Season of the Worthy Pass, or to upgrade your Season rank to tier 35. Once is certainly quicker than the other, but if you don’t want to invest your cash then it’s nice to have the option to grind instead. Remember, you’ll be able to work towards it when the new season launches on March 10, and have until June 9 to unlock the weapon.

You can find out more about the Season of the Worthy rewards for Destiny 2 over on the Bungie website, where they’ve divulged plenty more information on other rewards including exotic weapons and more.
