To unlock Master Rank 50 in Monster Hunter World, you first need to have reached MR 49. At this point you’ll stop gaining and progress towards your Master Rank when completing quests, but you aren’t done yet. To make the jump to MR 50, you need to complete the Sleep Now in the Fire quest. Look for this in the Assigned section of the quest board, it should be a 6-Star Master Rank quest.

Taking on the Sleep Now in the Fire mission involved beating down both a Tempered Rathian and a Tempered Nightshade Paolumu, which is no easy feat, so get a good hunting crew before you take it on. You’ll also need to be MR 49 before you start, so don’t go trying to jump ahead now!

Once you’ve beaten the quest, you’ll unlock Master Rank 50 and be ready to take part in all of the endgame content Monster Hunter World offers. Our friends at Shacknews have put together an outrageously detailed guides page for the game, so be sure to check that out for hints as to what comes next.

And there you go, you now know how to unlock Master Rank 50 (MR50) in Monster Hunter World. You’ve made it, so give yourself a pat on the back before you get back out there and explore!
