To team up and play with friends in Wolcen is very simple, but first you need to make sure the character you’re using is an online one. If you’ve chosen to make an offline character, or have disconnected yourself from the Wolcen Studio servers, you cannot play with friends in Wolcen, or at least not using that character. Create an online character and make sure you choose to play in online mode and you’ll be good to go.
To play with friends, you need to click the Friends icon in the bottom right corner of the main menu. It’s the center of three icons and looks like three figures together. This will open your Friends List.
From here, use the Add Friends button to enter your friend’s username and number (you can see your own at the top of your Friends List) then send them an invite. Once they accept, they’ll appear on your Friends List.
Once you have a friend, click on their name and throw an invite their way, or have them invite you! You’re now ready to play with friends in Wolcen.
To play with strangers, choose Game Settings and the Play button, and set your privacy to Public. This will allow you to match with anyone who’s close to your level in Wolcen.

Currently, Wolcen allows teams of up to four players to band together and play through the game. That means you can team up with three other friends using the method details above, or match with three random strangers if you’ve set your privacy to Public.
