To register for Project xCloud, you’ll need to visit the official Xbox website and input some of your information. Before you do, keep in mind that it’s free to sign up for Project xCloud, and that the preview is available on both Android and iOS devices.

Also note that it’s limited to select countries and regions. If your country isn’t among those able to preview Project xCloud, be sure to check back at a later date as Microsoft expands access to more regions.

On the Xbox website, you’ll either need to sign in or create an account to register for Project xCloud. When registering, you’ll need to provide an email address to receive updates on whether you’ve been selected for the Project xCloud preview.

Additionally, you’ll need to specify whether you own an iOS or Android, your country of residence, who your mobile phone provider is, and what your current zip code is. Once those have all been entered in, you’ll need to agree to the following:

  • You currently own or will buy a Bluetooth-enabled Xbox controller.
  • If selected, you agree to the Terms and Conditions.

Towards the end of the page, you can either opt-in to receive general offers from Xbox in your email or opt-out to limit the emails to things relating to Project xCloud. With everything filled out, checked off, and complete, submit your application and wait to see if you’re selected for the Project xCloud preview. If you are, you’ll receive an email with additional information on what you need to do moving forward.
