In Temtem, there are quite a few pieces of Gear to be found. As a rule, you should accept and complete as many quests and side quests as you can as this is a surefire way to receive Gear as a reward. Additionally, you’ll want to fully explore areas like Dojos as they often contain boxes with Gear inside.
That said, we’ve listed all Gear items in Temtem below along with a brief description of where you can get them!
- Chamomile: Found at the Wreck of the Narwhal site in Tucma.
- Coward’s Cloak: Found in a box in the center of a spiral island on the west side of the Sillaro River. Sillaro River can be accessed through Windward Fort using your Surfboard.
- Decoy: Given to you after you finish the Missing Kids quest that tasks you with finding Roger and Yusuf.
- Energy Drink: Given to you after you find Kemal in Quetzal.
- Fire Chip: Found in a box within the Anak Volcano.
- Four-Leaf Clover: Found in a box inside the Aguamarina Caves in a side area past the ice maze. You’ll need the Crystal Skates to reach this area.
- Grease: Found at the Wreck of the Narwhal site in Tucma.
- Hand Fan: Given to you by the Travel Writer after you describe all parts of Omninesia. Will require you to visit these locations in order to give proper descriptions, so you’ll need to double back after Tucma.
- Ice Cube: Found in a box in the Mokupuni Dojo.
- Lightning Rod: Given to you by Oliana when you accept the Blueprint Delivery quest.
- Lure: Given to you by the Travel Writer after you describe the first Omninesia location, Deniz.
- Pacsunscreen: Found in a box inside the Nanga Dojo.
- Pillow: Given to you after you complete Paparazzo’s quest by speaking with Visesia in The Flywalk area and report your findings back to Paparazzo in Mokupuni.
- Proteins: Found in the Giant Banyan once you beat the Nanga Dojo and the full area of the Giant Banyan becomes available to you.
- Rock Shield: Given to you after you find Kemal in Quetzal.
- Shuine’s Horn: Reward for completing the Beached Narwhal quest line in Tucma. Requires you to speak to the Quetzal Dojo leader first to get this quest.
- Snare: Given to you as a reward for completing the final section of the Blueprint Delivery quest. Note that you’ll need to complete Shipwrecked in Tucma and return to Nanga to complete this quest.
- Squeezer: Given to you after you find Kemal in Quetzal.
- Sweatband: Given to you as a reward for completing the Cultist Hunt quest in Quetzal.
- Talisman: Found in a box on the roof of Windward Fort after you defeat Lady Lottie.
- Tucma Mask: Given to you by Naolin after working your way through the Shipwrecked in Tucma quest.
- Umbrella: Given to you after you act as a stand-in Tourist Guide for a group of travelers in Arissola.
- Aggressive DNA Strand: Can be purchased from the Breeding Center shop.
- Dominant DNA Strand: Can be purchased from the Breeding Center shop.
- Endurance DNA Strand: Can be purchased from the Breeding Center shop.
- Engineered DNA Strand: Can be purchased from the Breeding Center shop.
- Gifted DNA Strand: Can be purchased from the Breeding Center shop.
- Hardening DNA Strand: Can be purchased from the Breeding Center shop.
- Immunity DNA Strand: Can be purchased from the Breeding Center shop.
- Lithe DNA Strand: Can be purchased from the Breeding Center shop.
