In Temtem, you’ll explore the various islands of the Airborne Archipelago, prompting the question of whether you can fast travel. While fast travel would certainly make things easier, and quicker, Temtem currently lacks a traditional fast travel system. To explain more, and list alternative options available, we’ve put together a quick guide on whether you can fast travel in Temtem.
Can you fast travel in Temtem?

The short answer to whether you can fast travel in Temtem is no, you can’t. As of the time of this writing, there is no fast travel system in place during the Early Access of Temtem. In the future, it’s possible (and likely) this will be added in via a content update. For example, the developers may make it possible to travel between previously visited Temporiums.
That said, this is sadly not something you can do right now. Even though there’s no traditional fast travel in Temtem, there are a few other things you can do. First, you can quickly travel between the available islands in Temtem by progressing through the story. You’re free to travel from Deniz to the Myrisles anytime you like using an Airship.
Additionally, you’ll unlock an Elevator Key and can use the Elevator to move between Ulterior, Citerior, and Superior Omninesia as needed. Meanwhile, there’s a sort of “cheat” option available in the form of Smoke Bombs. As an item you can buy for 120 Pacsuns, Smoke Bombs will take you back to the last Temporium you visited.
Say you’re on one side of the map in Ulterior Omninesia and need to get back to the other side to return to Superior Omninesia, you can throw down a Smoke Bomb and get back to a Temporium closer to the Elevator. You can also use it if you’re in the cave on Deniz and need to get back out safely. It’s really convenient, so we definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a way to get around quickly.
To recap, there’s no traditional fast travel method available in Temtem right now. Moving between islands is instant and free using the Airship and Elevator options. To quickly move across a map or escape a tricky situation, you can use a Smoke Bomb to take you back to the last Temporium you visited in Temtem.
