In Temtem, there’s no straightforward way to XP share, though you can get the Coward’s Cloak which allows you to share XP with one Temtem as long as they’re holding it. How to get the Coward’s Cloak in Temtem

- Complete the Windward Fort quest, then beat Sophia at her Dojo to get the Surfboard.
- Return to Windward Fort and use the Surfboard in the watery area across from where you rescued Sophia.
- Head out the left door and surf out into the Sillaro River area.
- Look for a spiral island (you should be able to see it on your map) and surf your way through the spiral to the center.
- At the center of the island, you’ll find a box that contains the Coward’s Cloak.
As noted above, the Coward’s Cloak is an item held in the Gear pocket of your Backpack that offers a way to XP share with one of your Temtem. For example, if you have a Temtem you want to level up but don’t want to use in battle, give them the Coward’s Cloak to hold. By holding the Coward’s Cloak, that Temtem will gain XP from all of the battles you partake in without ever having to be brought out themselves.
Given how useful this item is, many Temtem players will want to find it as soon as possible. Unfortunately, you’ll need to do a few other things before you can get the Coward’s Cloak. First, you’ll need to head to Windward Fort and free Sophia from Lady Lottie and Clan Belsoto. After that, return to Arissola and beat Sophia at the Dojo. As a reward, Sophia will give you the Surfboard.
Once you have the Surfboard, return to Windward Fort and the area you originally found Sophia in a cage. Across from the cages is a patch of water. Surf on the water, then head out the left door. On your map, you should now see an island with a spiral entrance. Travel up the spiral, fight off the Clan Belsoto guards, and get to the center.

There, you’ll find a box you can kick open and inside, you’ll find the Coward’s Cloak. When you acquire the Coward’s Cloak it’ll be added to the Gear pocket of your Backpack. To give it to a Temtem, all you need to do is open your Backpack, select the Coward’s Cloak in your Gear menu, then select a Temtem you want to hold it.
If you decide you want to give it to another Temtem, press ESC and view your Squad. Select the Temtem that’s holding the Coward’s Cloak. Next, press TAB to change or unequip the Coward’s Cloak from that Temtem. If you unequip, the Coward’s Cloak will return to your Gear pocket and you can give it to a different Temtem to hold.
