It’s Friday which means it’s officially Xur time in Destiny 2! If you’re new to Destiny 2, Xur acts as an Exotic goods vendor that appears at a randomized Destiny 2 location every Friday. When you find him, you can browse Xur’s updated inventory of Exotics. If you want to purchase something, all you need to do is exchange a few Legendary Shards.
Because Xur’s location changes every week, it can be a bit time-consuming to track him down, especially if you’re gunning to buy a new Exotic weapon. Fortunately, Xur likes to rotate between places he’s previously spawned. What’s more, Xur will remain at his chosen location from Friday until Tuesday, giving you plenty of time to find him if you’re unable to log in on Friday.

Where to find Xur in Destiny 2 - January 24, 2020

In Destiny 2, Xur serves as an Exotic goods vendor that appears at random locations every Friday. While Xur will typically cycle between areas he’s previously spawned, it can be hard to travel to all of these potential locations in order to find him. One thing to keep in mind when hunting for Xur is that you won’t be able to spot him until Friday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST) or later.
If you show up too early, you may miss Xur even if you correctly guessed where his weekly spawn will be. When Xur finally appears in Destiny 2, he’ll stay put in the same spot and will sell Exotic items to anyone with enough Legendary Shards on hand. If there’s something you want to buy from Xur, you have from Friday until Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST).
After Tuesday, you’ll need to wait until the following Friday at the same time to find Xur again. During the week of January 24, Xur can be found in The Rig on Titan. To get to Xur, you’ll need to spawn in on Titan, then head towards the Landing Zone. Near the edge of the platform, look for a circular opening leading inside a small room.

What Xur is selling in Destiny 2 - January 24, 2020

Starting on January 24, Destiny 2 players can visit Xur at the location outlined above. When you find Xur, you can browse through his updated inventory of Exotics. Note that Xur’s inventory refreshes each and every week. In Destiny 2, everything sold by Xur can be purchased using Legendary Shards, with most items priced at or around 23 Legendary Shards in total.
Along with Exotic armor pieces for Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans, Destiny 2 players can purchase one Exotic weapon from Xur each week as well as a Fated Engram. In addition to Exotic armor pieces like the Actium War Rig, Xur has the Monte Carlo available for purchase this week. It’s been a really long time since we’ve seen the Monte Carlo in Xur’s inventory, making this a noteworthy item for Destiny 2 players who’ve yet to add this weapon to their inventory.
