  • Press Menu on Xbox One or Options on PS4 to open your Menu.
  • From the Menu, open up your Game Settings.
  • Look for “In-Battle Slow Motion” and toggle the setting from On to Off.

In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, there are a variety of interesting effects added to battles to help you out, including a slow motion effect. Whenever you use an item or go to select a Super Attack, you’ll switch into slow motion for a brief period of time. This can be quite helpful as it gives you a little bit of breathing time while you heal, though it comes at the expense of slowing down battles.

For experienced players and those looking for a challenge, there’s a way to quickly turn off the slow motion effect in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. To turn off slow motion, press Menu on your Xbox One controller or Options on your PS4 controller. From the Menu, open your Game Settings. In the Game Settings, look for “In-Battle Slow Motion” and toggle the setting from On to Off.

After saving your new settings, you’ll no longer have to deal with slow motion during battle in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. If you find that turning off slow motion makes things a little too hard, you can always go back in and turn it back on using the steps outlined above.
