Destiny T-shirt charity sale to aid Australian bushfire relief

Bungie joins the effort to raise funds for Australia's disaster relief efforts.

Bungie have created a T-shirt for Destiny fans to buy and show their support for Australian relief efforts in the wake of some of the most devastating bushfires the country has ever seen.

Pre-orders are now open for the tee, which depicts a Guardian's ship cruising over the Australian outback and some obligatory 'roos. The Guardians For Australia T-shirt costs $25 US and all profits will be split equally between NSW Rural Fire Services, and wildlife rescue organization WIRES. Every order also comes with a free Destiny 2 "Star Light, Star Bright" emblem for you to show your charitable support in-game as well.

Many others in the gaming community have pledged their services in an effort to help out our brothers and sisters down under. Indie developers are holding a charity auction on Twitter while other AAA studios like former Bungie parent company Activision and Ubisoft have created in-game DLC with proceeds going to firefighter and wildlife organizations.

This is far from the first time the Destiny studio has put their community to good use during times of international strife, as they ran similar fundraising efforts during the aftermath of Nepal's devastating earthquake in 2015.

Will you be getting the Destiny Guardians For Australia charity T-shirt? Or are you helping relief efforts for the bushfires in some other way?
