Escape from Tarkov Woods map extraction points

A large, outdoor map, Woods has a huge number of extraction points to learn. Remember that you’ll only get access to some of them each game, depending on where you spawn and whether you’re playing as a Scav or PMC. Be sure to check your available Extracts when you spawn in (or hit the O key to view the list).

We’ve included a full list of the Woods extraction points on the map above. PMC exits are marked in blue, while Scav exits are marked in red. You can also check below for more details on each of them in case you're having trouble. We’ve only described the PMC exits in detail as this is where you’ll spend the bulk of your time, but there is only one PMC-exclusive extraction point on the map, so most overlap. If you’re ever unsure where to extract, follow the edge of the map and you’ll eventually reach an extraction point.

Cliff Descent (Mountain Stash)

Requires: Paracord, Red Rebel Ice Pick, no armor vest equipped.

A relatively new extraction point in Tarkov, and one of the hardest to use as a PMC. Scav’s can access this extraction at no cost, but PMCs must come equipped with a Paracord and the RR (Red Rebel) Ice Pick. You’ll also need to remove your armor if you’re a PMC. Look for the box of supplies tucked in this alcove at the south of the map.

Factory Gate

Requires: A friendly PMC or Scav.

Another PMC/Scav extraction point, the Factory Gate requires you to be playing with a friendly Scav or PMC. You can’t extract alone here. It’s a fairly obvious bit gate on the northwest side of the map. Follow the level boundary until you reach it.

Outskirts

Requires: Nothing

Open to PMCs and Scavs, this extraction point is found on the northeast side of the Woods map. Find the path through the woodlands here and follow it north to the extraction point.

RUAF Roadblock

Requires: Nothing. Not always open.

The RUAF Roadblock is a PMC and Scav exit on the northwest side of the map. It’s closer to the water, further east than Factory Gate. Once you’re on the west side of the water, travel northeast and you’ll reach it. You can tell if this extraction point is still open by the green smoke. If there’s no smoke, you’ll need to head elsewhere.

South V-Ex

Requires: 3000 Roubles. Max four players. One use only.

Available to both PMCs and Scavs, the South V-Ex is at the center of the south border to the map. You’ll need 3000 Roubles to extract from here, and only four players can be taken on the trip. Once the extract has been used it will be closed to other players.

UN Roadblock

Requires: Nothing.

Opene to both PMCs and Scavs, the UN Roadblock extraction point can be found in the northwest corner of the map, further west than Factory Gate. Walk up to the barred wall with the EVAC graffiti to begin extraction.

ZB-014

Requires: ZB-014 key (found on the Customs map). Not always open.

Accessible by both PMCs and Scavs, the ZB-014 extraction point is behind a locked door in a bunker on the east side of the Woods map. You can tell if the extraction is available by checking to see if the green light above the locked door is lit. Opening this route will also get you a weapon box, a 60-round magazine and some other loot contained in the locked room.

ZB-016

Requires: Nothing. Not always open.

ZB-016 is a PMC-only extraction point within a bunker on the west side of the map. It’s northwest of the crashed airplane and requires you to drop down a hole in the ground. If the exit is available you should see a green flare lighting the staircase.
