Where to find No Swimming signs in Fortnite

Break the rules by swimming near two of the No Swimming signs in Fortnite.

In Fortnite, there are new challenges added on a regular basis, including one that tasks players with swimming near two “No Swimming” signs. To complete this challenge, you’ll need to get all of your swimming done in a single match. Because of this, finding a few No Swimming signs in close proximity seems to be the go-to strategy. To help, we’ve put together a guide showing you where to find No Swimming sins in Fortnite.

During our time working to complete the “No Swimming” challenge, we were able to find 6 different No Swimming signs in and around the Fortnite map. In the image above, we’ve circled all of the locations where we encountered No Swimming signs. Note that two of these locations offer two No Swimming signs rather than one.

Depending on the path of the Battle Bus, we recommend dropping at locations at either the direct center or south end of the map. Alternatively, you can drop farther north, but doing so may make the challenge harder as you'll have to do a lot of running to get back down to the central area of the map where most of the No Swimming signs are located.

To make it easier to pinpoint these No Swimming signs in Fortnite, we’ve included screenshots of each one below.

The first No Swimming sign we stumbled across is on the beach to the west of Sweaty Sands. Unlike the No Swimming signs in the central and south parts of the map, this sign appears to be one of the only ones located in the northern quadrant of the Fortnite map.

Despite this, you can swim at this location then head down to the No Swimming sign near Gorgeous Gorge fairly quickly (especially if you grab a boat).

In the central part of the Fortnite map, there are actually two No Swimming signs located in close proximity to one another. Unfortunately, swimming between each of them doesn't appear to count towards your challenge progress (at least it didn't in our case).

That said, swimming between the two can be a ton of fun. To do this, make your way to the top of Gorgeous Gorge.

After jumping in the water and swimming around, let yourself be taken over the edge of the waterfall into the Lazy Lake area. On dry land to the immediate left, you'll see a gravestone and another no swimming sign, further emphasizing that you should not swim your way over the edge of a waterfall.

Another set of No Swimming signs can be found at the Hydro 16 dam to the east of Slurpy Swamp. We aren't sure if swimming between the two No Swimming signs here updated our challenge progress, or if it updated because we'd previously swam near the No Swimming sign at Gorgeous Gorge.

Either way, it doesn't matter which end of Hydro 16 you start at as you'll find No Swimming signs on both sides.

Fortnite No Swimming Sign - South Island

The last No Swimming sign can be found all the way at the bottom of the Fortnite map in the South Island area. Depending on the path of the Battle Bus, you may want to land here first and swim at the No Swimming sign seen in the image above before making your way past Misty Meadows over to the Hydro 16 dam.

No matter which No Swimming signs you pick, as long as you swim near two during a single match, you should be able to complete this challenge in Fortnite!
