Once you’ve got past the initial terror of losing your stuff on each raid, you might start to try your hand at some of Escape from Tarkov’s more interesting quests. One which has many players stumped is the Delivery from the Past quest. It’s a solid way to earn new loot, and in this guide we’ll teach you how to complete the Delivery from the Past quest in Escape from Tarkov
Delivery from the Past guide for Escape from Tarkov
Don’t worry, this delivery from the past is much better than that embarrassing memory your brain keeps serving up. You know the one. Instead, this quest will let you distract yourself by finding and delivering a specific piece of equipment on the Escape from Tarkov maps. Do so and you’ll earn 4,100 experience points, 12,000 Roubles, 0.11 Prapor rep, the Saiga 12 Gauge Version 10 12/76 Shotgun, three Sb.5 5-round 12/76 magazines, and the ability to buy the 5.45x39 mm PS at LL1 reputation.

Your aim in this quest is to pick up a case from the Customs map, then deliver it to Factory. To start things off you’ll need to collect a Customs Office Key. You can find it in the If you haven’t got that, we’re afraid you’re in for a hunt as you try to grab it from drawers and Scav backpacks. Once you’ve collected a Customs Office Key, start a raid on the Customs map and head to the red colored Paradigm Warehouse marked on the map above. There’s a metal stairway inside which you can take up to a locked doorway.
Use the Customs Office Key to unlock this door and inside. Go past the first room and then breach the door to the back office (this will make a lot of noise). The item you’re after is called Secure case for documents 0022 and it’s under the top level of the desk inside, on top the drawers. Grab it and you’re partway there. All you need to do now is successfully extract from Customs. If you die on the way, you’ll need to start over again.

You’ve got the documents from Customs, but the task isn’t done. Next you need to load into a Factory raid with the documents in your inventory. You need to make it to the Gate 3 extraction point (click here for a full list of Factory map extraction points), but don’t actually extract. Just to the left of the extraction point is a staircase up to a small room. You need to place the documents inside here by holding down your use key for 30 seconds (F by default).
Naturally this will leave you very open to being killed, so be sure to lie down and keep yourself out of sight while completing Delivery from the Past. Die during the dropoff and yep, you’ll need to go get the documents all over again. A good idea is to either kill the other players or simply hide in the room until they’ve all extracted from the raid so that you can complete the quest in peace.
Finally, all you need to do to complete the Delivery from the Past quest in Escape from Tarkov is to safely extract from Factory. Manage that and you’ll have completed the mission and will be able to claim your rewards. Congratulations! For more tips and tricks, check out these guides:
