Temtem is getting an Early Access release on PC on January 21, though this has inspired questions including whether the game will release on console and Nintendo Switch. While it’s highly recommended that you play Temtem on PC as that’s where it’ll release first, it’s understandable that you may want to wait for Temtem on other platforms.

The immediate answer as to whether Temtem will release on console and Nintendo Switch is that yes, it will. In the past, the developers at Crema have shown videos demonstrating Temtem running on Nintendo Switch and have stated that they have no reason to believe Nintendo will block the game due to its similarities to Pokemon.
Additionally, the developers have confirmed Temtem’s eventual release on console including Xbox One and PlayStation 4. As part of their Kickstarter updates, Crema notes that console keys “won’t be delivered until the game is fully developed and released.” They go on to estimate that console keys likely won’t be available until at least 2021, but again, this is an early estimate.
The console release could be sooner, or it could be later. It’s unclear whether Temtem will be available at the same price on console in 2021. In the FAQ section of the TemTem Kickstarter page, Crema confirms there are no plans for a physical release of Temtem. As such, it’s safe to say Temtem will only be available digitally not just on PC, but on console and Nintendo Switch as well.
