Resident Evil 3's Nemesis trailer is packed with teeth

Say cheese!

Capcom has released a new trailer for the Resident Evil 3 remake, and this time it’s all about that infamous antagonist, Nemesis.

The new trailer gives us a closer look at Jill’s ally Carlos Oliveira and his team before getting stuck right in with the Nemesis tyrant. It seems the military men will be taking a bigger role this time around, with Mikhail Viktor and his squad appearing to have more lines and screentime. At the end of the day though, it’s all about the Tyrant. Check him out in the footage below:

While Resident Evil 2’s Mr X was content to pace meaningfully around the halls of the R.P.D., Nemesis is a whole different breed of Tyrant. The prime antagonist of Resident Evil 3, he tracks Jill relentlessly across the city, intent on wiping out any remaining S.T.A.R.S. members. As expected, the trailer shows the Resi 3 remake will be taking a more cinematic approach, with much more of Raccoon city to race through as you try to stay clear of his big fists, flamethrower and, well, those teeth.

Along with the trailer, some extra images of the game were posted to Twitter. We get a first look at the remake’s take on Hunters, repitlian monsters that leap at the player and deal hefty damage. You may have been able to avoid Lickers by being quiet, but these guys won’t be so simple to evade. Finally, there are also snaps of a hospital environment and Russian Captain of the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service, Mikhail Vkctor. Below are all the new images we've been shown, swipe across to see them all:
