The Dawning event is live in Destiny 2, encouraging Guardians to bake cookies for their favorite in-game characters. As you bake cookies, you’ll have the ability to unlock useful items like the Alpine Dash Sparrow and the Masterwork Oven. Where to get the Masterwork Oven in Destiny 2

- Bake all cookie recipes in Destiny 2 during The Dawning event.
- Open your Quests tab, select Eva's Holiday Oven, select the "Masterwork" icon, then upgrade to the Masterwork Oven.
In Destiny 2, things like the Masterwork Oven can be unlocked by participating in The Dawning event activities. Namely, by baking cookies for characters in Destiny 2 like Xur and Saint-14. In the beginning, you’ll bake these cookies in Eva’s Holiday Oven 2.0 until you bake enough to unlock the Masterwork Oven.
Specifically, you’ll need to bake all cookie recipes in Eva’s Holiday Oven 2.0 once in order to have the option of upgrading to the Masterwork Oven. If you aren’t familiar with the recipes for all of the cookies you can bake during The Dawning event in Destiny 2, the good news is we have them all listed in this handy dandy guide.
Recipes aside, the other challenge to baking all cookie recipes during The Dawning event in Destiny 2 is having enough Essence of Dawning to be able to make them. Once you’ve baked all cookie recipes in Destiny 2 at least once, open your Quests tab and navigate to Eva’s Holiday Oven 2.0.
From there, select the “Masterwork” icon and upgrade to the Masterwork Oven. With the Masterwork Oven unlocked, you’ll be able to use it to bake cookies at a reduced cost. Instead of 15 Essence of Dawning, your cookie recipes will cost 10 Essence of Dawning.
It can be a bit of a grind to get the Masterwork Oven, but if you’re looking to unlock rewards in Destiny 2 that require cookies, the Masterwork Oven is a useful thing to have unlocked.
