The Star Wars event is live in Fortnite, bringing with it new weekly challenges including raising your Banner at a TIE Fighter crash site. Where to find TIE Fighter crash sites in Fortnite

In Fortnite, new map additions can be explored including TIE Fighter crash sites as part of the Star Wars event. For players looking to complete the Stage 1 weekly challenges, knowing where to find these TIE Fighter crash sites is key as you’ll need to raise your Banner and “capture” one of them.
You’ll also be able to find First Order Blaster Rifles at these TIE Fighter crash sites which you can then use to eliminate First Order Stormtrooper opponents. So, where do you need to land? Well, there are several TIE Fighter crash sites (five total) in Fortnite, each marked by a billowing plume of smoke.
By following this smoke, you’ll come across a TIE Fighter crash site. Note that these areas are defended by First Order Stormtroopers, so before you raise your Banner, you'll need to clear the area.

For specific locations to help you coordinate where you land, we’ve listed all TIE Fighter crash sites and marked them on the map as seen in the image above.
- North of Holly Hedges
- South of Steamy Stacks
- East of Salty Springs
- South of Slurpy Swamp
- North of Retail Row
After finding a TIE Fighter crash site, the other question players will undoubtedly want answered is how to raise your Banner. To do this, simply clear the area of enemy players and Stormtroopers, then approach the Banner that’s already in place by the crash site. Near the Banner, press and hold E on PC, Square on PS4, X on Xbox One, or Y on Nintendo Switch to place your Banner and “capture” the TIE Fighter crash site.
In doing so, you’ll cross that particular Stage 1 challenge off your list. Keep in mind that if another player has beaten you to the location and raised their Banner first, you won’t be able to raise yours at that location. Additionally, if there are any First Order Stormtroopers remaining in the area, you’ll need to eliminate these enemies before raising your Banner (otherwise it won’t work).
