Apex Legends winter event Mirage's Holo-day Bash out now

Mirage crashed The Game Awards 2019 to launch Apex Legends' winter event.

Mirage's Holo-day Bash starts right now as Apex Legends' winter event gets a surprise drop at The Game Awards 2019.

The hero of the hour, Mirage, joined presenter Geoff Keighley live on stage through the magic of live motion capture, which is pretty dang cool. What a world we live in.

Their banter mercifully ended with Mirage launching the Holo-day Bash event, which features a number of new skins for Legends like Octane, Wattson, Pathfinder (who gets to be Santa and, thus, wins) and of course, Mirage himself. Mirage is a nutcracker but thinks he's some sort of captain?

If you play the event on launch then you can get a gun skin that matches his nutty costume, which is mostly just red. There's a new game mode to play so head back to the snowy cliffs of Apex Legends' season 2 map for festive fun.

The Apex Legends Holo-Day Bash event was launched at The Game Awards 2019, for more of our coverage check out the tag.
