PlayerUnknown announces new game titled Prologue

What is it? We have no idea.

Brendan 'PlayerUnknown' Greene has a new game in the works. It's called Prologue, and that's just about everything we know so far.

The new title was announced at The Game Awards 2019, where we saw a very brief teaser showing a rainy forest, alightning strike and what looks like a figure moving before we cut to the title prologue. There's a website up now where you can sign up for the mailing list, but so far there's no more information on the game itself.

Here's how PUBG Productions (mysteriously) describe Prologue.

"Prologue is an exploration of new technologies and gameplay. Our aim with this game is to give players unique and memorable experiences, each and every time they play."

Not too informative, but what we do know to be likely is that it won't be a battle royale. Greene has previously stated he's done with the genre and keen to move on to other things. Whatever it is, we'll need to wait until Mr PlayerUnknown and his team are ready to show us more of Prologue.
