It’s that time of the week again when Xur appears in Destiny 2. If you’re new to the game, Xur is an Exotic goods vendor that becomes available every Friday at a randomized location. By finding Xur, you can purchase Exotic items in exchange for Legendary Shards.
Because Xur’s location changes every week, you’ll likely need to spend a bit of time searching in order to purchase Exotics from him. Fortunately, Xur tends to pick out places to spawn on Friday that he’s previously visited. Xur will also remain at his chosen location from Friday until Tuesday, giving you plenty of time to get your Legendary Shards in order if you see something you want to buy.
With the Shadowkeep expansion giving Destiny 2 players new ways to earn Legendary Shards, there’s no better time to track down Xur and browse through his inventory of Exotic goods. To make everything a little easier, we’ve put together a guide explaining where to find Xur in Destiny 2 and all of the Exotic items he has available for purchase during the week of December 6, 2019.
Where to find Xur in Destiny 2 - December 6, 2019

In Destiny 2, Xur acts as an Exotic goods vendor who appears at new locations randomly starting on Friday. While Xur will usually cycle between areas he’s previously visited, it can be a pain to have to travel to all of these locations in order to track him down in Destiny 2. Something to keep in mind when looking for Xur is that you won’t be able to find him until Friday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST).
As such, you’ll want to wait to begin your search until at least 10:00 a.m. (PST) or later as you may miss Xur if you arrive at his chosen location too early. Once Xur appears in Destiny 2, he’ll stay put and sell Exotic items to anyone with enough Legendary Shards on hand. Xur will remain at his chosen location from Friday until Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST).
After Tuesday, he won’t reappear until the following Friday at the same time. During the week of December 6, Xur can be found on Titan in The Rig. To reach Xur, you’ll need to spawn on Titan, then head towards the Landing Zone. Near the edge of the platform, you’ll spot a square building. What Xur is selling in Destiny 2 - December 6, 2019

Starting on December 6, you’ll be able to meet up with Xur at the location outlined above. At this location, you can interact with Xur and browse his updated inventory of Exotic items, with Xur’s inventory refreshing each week.
In Destiny 2, everything sold by Xur can be purchased in exchange for Legendary Shards, with most items priced at or around 23 Legendary Shards in total. Along with Exotic armor pieces for Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters, Destiny 2 players can purchase one Exotic weapon from Xur along with a Fated Engram.

- Black Talon (Exotic Sword) - 29 Legendary Shards
- Lunafaction Boots (Exotic Warlock Leg Armor) - 23 Legendary Shards
- Wormhusk Crown (Exotic Hunter Helmet) - 23 Legendary Shards
- Stronghold (Exotic Titan Gauntlets) - 23 Legendary Shards
- Fated Engram - 97 Legendary Shards
Along with Exotic armor pieces like the Wormhusk Crown, Xur has a Black Talon available for purchase this week. The inclusion of the Black Talon in Xur’s inventory is particularly noteworthy, as it’s not an item you commonly see available for purchase. In our opinion, it’s a worthwhile weapon to own as it offers a unique way to approach various combat scenarios.
