Is Horizon Zero Dawn coming to PC in 2020?

A new leak suggests that PC gamers will be able to explore the world of Horizon Zero Dawn in 2020.

Horizon Zero Dawn is one of our favorite PS4 exclusives, and the only negative thing we can say about it is that we wish more gamers were able to experience it for themselves. Fortunately, it looks like this may actually happen as a new leak suggests a possible PC release for Horizon Zero Dawn in 2020!

As reported by sites like Prima, a new leak from content creator Anton Logvinov has caused quite a stir as it suggests that Horizon Zero Dawn is getting a PC release in February 2020. As with any leak of this nature, it’s important to take things with a grain of salt. Until the developers at Guerrilla Games explicitly confirm (or deny) the release of Horizon Zero Dawn on PC, we can’t know for certain.

That said, there are several things that make this leak seem plausible. For example, console titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 made the leap to PC in 2019, while PS4 exclusives like Death Stranding now have PC pre-orders on Steam. A sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn has been rumored for a while, with many speculating it could release as a PS5 launch title.

What better way to promote the series and attract new fans than by releasing the game to other platforms, including PC?

It seems like a logical step, but again, there’s no way to know for certain whether any of this will actually happen in 2020. An announcement trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn on PC could also be one of the reveals slated for The Game Awards on December 12. The timing seems right, and we’re eager to watch the show and see for ourselves what comes out of it.

Until then, we’re curious to hear your thoughts. Will Horizon Zero Dawn release on PC in 2020, or is the leak grasping at straws that simply aren’t there? Let us know down in the comments below!
