In Pokemon Sword and Shield, you have the ability to get and use a Bicycle similar to other Pokemon titles. To get the Bicycle in Pokemon Sword and Shield, you’ll need to progress through the game until you reach Route 5. Before you start exploring Route 5, you’ll want to take the time to beat the first Gym in Turffield and earn your Grass Badge.
With the Grass Badge on hand, travel to Route 5 and look for a distressed man surrounded by Team Yell. Defeat Team Yell in battle and save the man. As a reward, he’ll give you the Bicycle for your troubles. To use the Bicycle in Pokemon Sword and Shield, tap + or - on your Joy-Con controllers. To increase your speed while on the Bicycle, you can press B for a short boost.
