In Death Stranding, you can unlock goodies and accessories for Sam to wear including a pair of JF Rey sunglasses. If these sunglasses seem familiar, it’s because Hideo Kojima wears a pair of JF Rey in his cameo for Metal Gear Solid V. How to get JF Rey sunglasses in Death Stranding

In Death Stranding, you’ll need to make a few side deliveries to outpost locations if you want to unlock special cosmetic items. For example, you can get the JF Rey sunglasses for Sam in Death Stranding by making a delivery to the “Film Director” at his Central Region location. The Film Director is one of the many celebrity cameos you’ll encounter in Death Stranding as the Film Director is none other than Jordan Vogt-Roberts.
The delivery to the Film Director will unlock after you get to Episode 3. At that time, a Standard Order will become available and when you accept it, the Film Director’s location will appear on your map. Note you can plot your course by holding square and moving the line to your location. By plotting a course, you’ll have an easier time reaching the Film Director.
As with any delivery, your journey will include hazards for you to navigate. For example, you may encounter Timefall and BTs, or MULEs looking to steal your cargo. Once you reach the Film Director and deliver his cargo, he’ll give you the JF Rey sunglasses. To equip them, hold up on the d-pad, then select it with your right stick to equip. You can also equip the JF Rey sunglasses from your Private Room.
