LG develops an 88-inch OLED display

It'll be on display at CES this month.

LG Display has developed an 8K, 88-inch OLED display.

The company has announced that the display contains 33 million pixels at 7,680x4,320 resolution. That’s four times the numbers of ultra high definition and 16 times high-definition 1080p.

LG has said that the OLED nature helps the screen maintain luminescence even at higher resolutions, making it the best choice for 8K.

The new TV will be showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas which runs January 9-12.
