It’s that time of the week again when everyone’s favorite Exotic goods vendor, Xur, appears in Destiny 2. If you’re new to Destiny 2, Guardians can pay a visit to Xur from Friday until Tuesday and purchase Exotics from him in exchange for Legendary Shards. Xur’s location changes each week, meaning you’ll need to put in a little effort if you want to buy yourself some Exotic goods.
What’s nice about Xur is that once he picks a place to spawn, he’ll remain there, giving you plenty of time to get your Legendary Shards in order if you find he has something you want to buy. With the Shadowkeep expansion giving Destiny 2 players new ways to earn Legendary Shards, there’s no better time to track down Xur and browse his inventory of Exotic items.

Where to find Xur in Destiny 2 - November 8, 2019

In Destiny 2, Xur acts as an Exotic goods vendor who appears at random locations every week starting on Friday. While he typically cycles between areas he’s previously visited, it can be frustrating to have to travel to each one in order to locate him in Destiny 2. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to find Xur until Friday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST).
Because of this, you won’t want to begin your search until 10:00 a.m. (PST) or later as you may miss Xur if you arrive at a location too early. Once Xur officially appears in Destiny 2, he’ll stay put and will sell Exotic items to anyone with enough Legendary Shards on hand.
Xur will remain at his chosen location from Friday until Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST), and won’t reappear until the following Friday at the same time. During the week of November 8 through November 12 in Destiny 2, Xur can be found in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ on Earth.
To get to Xur, you’ll need to spawn in at Winding Cove, then make your way north towards the rocky cliff area. Look for a small path, then follow it until you spot a downed Fallen ship. Near this ship, you should be able to spot Xur hanging out in a grove of trees.
What Xur is selling in Destiny 2 - November 8, 2019

Starting on November 8, you’ll be able to meet up with Xur at the location we’ve outlined above. At this location, you can speak with Xur and browse through his update inventory of Exotics, which refresh every week. In Destiny 2, everything sold by Xur can be purchased in exchange for Legendary Shards, with most items priced at or around 23 Legendary Shards in total.
Along with Exotic armor pieces for Titans, Hunters, and Warlocks, Destiny 2 players can purchase one Exotic weapon from Xur along with a Fated Engram. - Cerberus+1 (Exotic Auto Rifle) - 29 Legendary Shards
- Transversive Steps (Exotic Warlock Leg Armor) - 23 Legendary Shards
- Frost-EE5 (Exotic Hunter Leg Armor) - 23 Legendary Shards
- Eternal Warrior (Exotic Titan Helmet) - 23 Legendary Shards
- Fated Engram - 97 Legendary Shards
In addition to Exotic armor pieces like the Eternal Warrior, Xur has a Cerberus+1 available for purchase this week with some pretty solid rolls attached. It’s not often that you see Xur offering up a Cerberus+1, and the Exotic armor includes the must-have Eternal Warrior for the Titan class. At least, it’s a must-have in our minds.
