Bungie will once again be performing scheduled maintenance, booting anyone still online an hour later. Bad news for anyone who’d taken the day off to play, as the downtime is planned to last a full five hours. Once the work is complete, players will be asked to accept an update to the latest version, 1.0.1.3, before rejoining the game.
While this might seem rather ordinary, Bungie has been known to, whether on purpose or surreptitiously, include changes to elements not covered in the Patch Notes.
Over on the DestinyTheGame subreddit, the maintenance megathread is full of in-jokes about incoming nerfs, especially to Fusion Rifles - a weapon archetype that managed to receive numerous nerfs in Destiny 1, despite backlash from the community.
