Where to find boats in Fortnite Chapter 2

Fortnite Chapter 2 is now live, bringing with it a new map with plenty of water for you traverse using vehicles like boats. One common question that Fortnite players have been asking is where to find these boats. To help you pinpoint the best place to drop in order to gain access to a fun aquatic vehicle, we’ve put together a guide explaining where you can find boats in Fortnite Chapter 2.

Where to find boats in Fortnite Chapter 2

In Fortnite Chapter 2, boats are vehicles that can be used to quickly traverse watery areas (as you’d expect). While typically located on the shoreline in areas with access to water, given the fact there’s so much water on the Fortnite Chapter 2 map, you’re looking at a pretty wide search area to scour.

During our time in the Fortnite Chapter 2 map, we encountered several boats at key locations. As long as you search near watery areas, you should be able to find at least one boat. Once you find and board a boat, you'll be able to quickly travel to new locations avoiding both enemies and the Storm.

Below, we’ve listed all of the ones we found. Be sure to check back, as we’ll be updating this guide as we locate more boats in the Fortnite Chapter 2 map! 

A great spot to find several boats in Fortnite Chapter 2 is Eye Land, which connects to several different river directions, making it easy to explore other areas once you board your boat.

After exploring the Lighthouse, you can board a boat near the docks. While this boat is hanging up as if it's in need of repair, there's nothing wrong with it.

As you travel away from the Lighthouse towards Sweaty Sands, there's a river that takes you past a green outpost area. There's a boat right before the outpost by a pier, and others at the outpost itself.

As mentioned above, there are two boats on the shore by the green outpost building right before you enter the Sweaty Sands area in Fortnite Chapter 2.

Traveling up the river through Sweaty Sands towards the Red Steel Bridge landmark area, you'll find another boat waiting for you by a small pier.

As you make your way to the center of the map and Weeping Woods, you'll pass under a wood bridge. Docked by a nearby pier, you'll find a boat that's ready to help you make a quick getaway.
