How long to beat Greedfall?

Greedfall is a full RPG experience that may take you longer to beat than you think.

For gamers debating whether or not to jump into Greedfall, the question of how long the game takes to beat is bound to come up. As an RPG, you can expect Greedfall to be rather meaty when it comes to content. Unlike games that can be beaten in around 10 to 15 hours, Greedfall offers a robust experience that will take you a while to truly beat. To help give you a better idea on what to expect from Greedfall, we’ve put together a quick guide that breaks down how long the game takes to beat!

During our time in Greedfall, we made it a priority to run through the game’s campaign in order to determine how long it takes to beat. To our surprise, Greedfall is rather extensive in that it took us around 36 hours to beat. Keep in mind that our time to beat Greedfall and yours may differ depending on the approach you take.

For example, if you’re someone who enjoys completing side quests and exploring each area, it may take you 40 to 45 hours to beat Greedfall. Meanwhile, if you’re looking to speedrun the game, we’ve heard players share completion times as little as 28 to 30 hours. With these numbers in place, the general completion time for Greedfall can potentially fall anywhere from 28 to 45+ hours.

Realistically, we feel 30 to 35 hours is a fair estimate. As a whole, Greedfall offers a fantastic RPG experience that will keep you busy for quite a while. If you’re planning to play other games this month like the reboot of Link’s Awakening, Greedfall is also nice in that you can save and tackle other projects, then return to the game later and pick back up where you left off.

Now that you know approximately how long it’ll take you to beat Greedfall, be sure to check out some of our previous guides including all companion locations in Greedfall!
