Where to find and deliver the Hot Spring Stone in Monster Hunter: World Iceborne to get yourself a Thermae Ticket.

As you might expect from a sizeable expansion, Iceborne introduces several new quests to Monster Hunter: World. Some are less straightforward than others, and one that many players are struggling with is the Treasure in the Steam missions which asks you to find and deliver a Hot Spring Stone. Want to know where to find it? In this guide we’ll teach you the Hot Spring Stone location and where you need to deliver it in Monster Hunter: World Iceborne so that you can crack on with earning the Thermae Layered Armor

As mentioned above, the Hot Spring Stone is a delivery item required for the Treasure in the Steam quest. Finding and delivering it can be a bit of a pain if you haven’t explored much, so let us help teach you how to handle this quest and find the Hot Spring Stone location.

The Hot Spring Stone can be found in the Hoarfrost Reach area. More specifically, by the hot spring in the top right corner of largest section of Area 13. Before you head there, however, you first need to unlock the Western Camp in Area 5 as it’s here you’ll be delivering to. Why there? Because you can’t crouch properly while holding the stone, so you’ll find yourself stuck outside of the other camps you visit.

Head to the area and look around the warm pools of water in Area 13 for some Hot Spring Stones. Once you grab one, you then need to run back to Western Camp 5 where you can, rather impressively, climb the vines one-handed while holding the stone. Dump the Hot Spring Stone in the Supply Box and you’ll be sorted. You’ve got 50 minutes to complete the mission, which should be more than enough once you know what you’re doing. You'll need to collect two stones, so get used to the path before you start running it. Still having trouble? Check out the video guide below by JinJinx and Tuna.

Now that you know the Hot Spring Stone location and where to deliver it in Monster Hunter World Iceborne, you’re free to get on with earning the Thermae Hot Springs Layered Armor, though do you really want to fight in that kind of gear?
