Continuing their mission to offer free games every month, Epic Games has confirmed that both Abzu and The End is Nigh are available. As with previous free game offerings, both games will cost you absolutely nothing as long as you have the Epic Games Store installed. To get Abzu and The End is Nigh you’ll need to act fast as they’re only available until September 12!
Abzu and The End is Nigh free on the Epic Games Store

To get your free copies of Abzu and The End is Nigh, you’ll need to have the Epic Games Store installed. From there, simply navigate to the Store page and at the top, you’ll see a banner with the latest offering of free games. Rather than just one title, you have the ability to grab two at once (Abzu, The End is Nigh) until September 12.
Once September 12 rolls around, both free games will be replaced by a new free game offering, Conarium. As such, we recommend returning on September 12 to grab Conarium as well. Redeeming free games on the Epic Games Store is a little weird in that you need to make a fake “purchase” in order to add the games to your Library.
For example, if you click on the “Get” button for Abzu, you’re taken to a purchase page with a total of $0.00. By completing the mock purchase, you’ll add Abzu to your Library for free. The same goes for The End is Nigh, with both games requiring you to complete the “purchase page” process separately. Keep this in mind, especially if you’re looking to add both to your Library.
To grab Conarium on September 12, you’d run through the same process of clicking “Get” then running through the purchase page to acquire it for $0.00 (so free, basically).
