Nintendo went hard during their Nintendo Direct event on September 4. In addition to new Smash characters and in-depth looks at upcoming properties like Luigi’s Mansion 3, it was confirmed that Divinity Original Sin 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch. Rather than having to wait a few months, Nintendo decided to throw fans a bone by making the game available today.

That’s right, Divinity Original Sin 2 is available today, September 4, on Nintendo Switch! The game will be offered as a Definitive Edition and will include features such as cloud saves between Switch and Steam versions of the game. Overall, we’re extremely excited to play one of our favorite RPG titles from Larian Studios again, this time on Nintendo Switch.
