To complete Octane’s Gauntlet Ring of Fire in Apex Legends, you’ll first need to locate the area. If you open your map, you'll see that Octane’s Gauntlet is located between Airbase and Thunderdome. Despite the challenge name, any Legend can complete Octane’s Gauntlet. You don’t need to select Octane to complete it.

For example, we completed Octane’s Gauntlet using Bangalore. In addition to locating where Octane’s Gauntlet is on the map, you’ll need to pick up a set of armor. Scattered around Octane’s Gauntlet, you’ll find supplies including armor, weapons, and ammo. Grab everything you need, then head towards one of the upper tower areas located on the left and right sides of the track.

There, you’ll be able to slide down a ramp and launch yourself through the flaming ring in the center of Octane’s Gauntlet.

After running through the track, you'll need to launch yourself through the large flaming hoop in the center of Octane's Gauntlet Ring of Fire in Apex Legends.

Octane’s Gauntlet Ring of Fire can be difficult to complete as you’ll need to compete against other players also looking to cross this challenge off their Iron Crown Collection Event list. When we attempted Octane’s Gauntlet, we encountered players who stopped to shoot at us, and players hiding out looking to snipe people entering the track area.

Because of this, it can be better to land slightly outside the Gauntlet area and pick up gear, wait a little bit for the shooting to subside, then carefully attempt the challenge. Overall, the way you run Octane’s Gauntlet is up to you as long as you meet all of the criteria listed above.
