Every week in Destiny 2, Xur will appear at a random location starting on Friday. When you find him, you’ll be able to purchase Exotic gear from him. Given that Xur’s location is randomized, players often find themselves wondering where Xur can be found in Destiny 2. Additionally, because Xur acts as an Exotic goods vendor, visiting him can be useful if you’re looking to add new items to your inventory.
During the week of August 2, you’ll be able to meet with Xur and not only purchase Exotic armor pieces from him, but an Exotic weapon as well. After August 6, you’ll need to wait until the following Friday to interact with Xur again. At that time, Xur will have moved to a new location and his inventory will refresh.

Where to find Xur in Destiny 2 - August 2, 2019

Xur’s location changes every week in Destiny 2. Starting on Friday, Xur appears at a new location, all of which vary though they do seem to follow a pattern as Xur cycles through familiar spots. When you find Xur, you’ll be able to interact with him and purchase Exotic gear in exchange for Legendary Shards.
Starting on Friday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST), Xur will be available as an Exotic goods vendor in Destiny 2. Xur will remain at the same location until Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST) and won’t reappear until the following Friday at the same time.
During the week of August 2, Xur can be found at one of his standard locations inside the Tower. To spot him, spawn into the Tower, then head back towards the Hangar. Once there, keep heading back towards the area where the Dead Orbit vendor is located and behind him you should be able to find Xur.
What Xur is Selling in Destiny 2 - August 2, 2019

During the week of August 2 through August 6, Xur can be found selling an interesting assortment of Exotic items. In Destiny 2, everything sold by Xur can be purchased in exchange for Legendary Shards, with most items priced at or around 23 Legendary Shards in total. Not only can you purchase Exotic armor for Warlocks, Titans, and Hunters, you can also purchase an Exotic weapon from Xur as well as a Fated Engram.

- The Huckleberry (Exotic Submachine Gun) - 29 Legendary Shards
- St0mp-EE5 (Exotic Hunter Legs) - 23 Legendary Shards
- Winter’s Guile (Exotic Hunter Gauntlets) - 23 Legendary Shards
- One-Eyed Mask (Exotic Titan Helmet) - 23 Legendary Shards
- Fated Engram - 97 Legendary Shards
- Invitation of the Nine - 9 Legendary Shards
In addition to Exotic armor pieces like the Winter’s Guile, Xur also has a Huckleberry Exotic submachine gun available with some unique rolls attached.
Xur also has a new Invitation of the Nine up for grabs for a fitting 9 Legendary Shards. For this week’s Invitation of the Nine, players will find themselves on the “Death” quest which tasks them with completing different Crucible matches. The Crucible matches you’ll need to complete include 3 Quickplay matches, 3 Competitive matches, and 3 Rumble matches.
