Fire Emblem: Three Houses has a deep combat system where you can arrange units based on strengths and weaknesses. To help boost the strength of your characters, you’ll want to unlock Hero Relics. In Fire Emblem: Three Houses, there are several Hero Relics you can unlock. For example, the first one you’ll get is the Sword of the Creator for Byleth. Want to know how to unlock the rest? There are several Hero Relics in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, many of which have specific owners. In order to utilize the Combat Art attached to a Hero Relic, you’ll need to have it equipped to its specific owner. For example, the Sword of the Creator is owned by Byleth and grants Byleth the ability to heal when attacking. Below, we’ve listed all of the Hero Relics we’ve managed to unlock as well as their owners in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

  • Areadbhar: This Hero Relic is owned by Dimitri and unlocks during Act 2. When used by Dimitri, the Areadbhar unlocks a Combat Art called Atrocity.
  • Aymr: This Hero Relic is owned by Edelgard and unlocks during Act 2. When used by Edelgard, the Aymr unlocks a Combat Art called Raging Storm.
  • Blutgang: This Hero Relic is a special sword that unlocks after you successfully complete the “A Forgotten Hero” paralogue.
  • Caduceus Staff: This Hero Relic can be used by Flayn and Linhardt and unlocks after you successfully complete Flayn and Seteth’s paralogue.
  • Failnaught: This Hero Relic is owned by Claude and unlocks during Act 2. When used by Claude, the Failnaught unlocks a Combat Art called Fallen Star.
  • Freikugel: This Hero Relic is owned by Hilda and unlocks after you successfully complete the “A World Divided” paralogue. If used by someone bearing the Crest of Goneril, a Combat Art called Apocalyptic Flame will unlock for the Freikugel.
  • Lance of Ruin: This Hero Relic is owned by Sylvain and unlocks after you complete the main battle mission in Chapter 5. You’ll need to either be a member of the Blue Lions with Sylvain in your roster or recruit him to your house in order to keep and use the Lance of Ruin.
  • Spear of Assal: This Hero Relic can be used by Seteth or Ferdinand and unlocks after you complete Flayn and Seteth’s paralogue.
  • Sword of Begalta: This Hero Relic is owned by Claude and unlocks after you successfully complete the “Sleeping Sand Legend” paralogue. Similar to the Sword of the Creator, the Sword of Begalta lets you restore HP when attacking.
  • Sword of the Creator: This Hero Relic is owned by Byleth and unlocks after you complete the main battle mission in Chapter 4. The Sword of the Creator has the ability to restore HP when attacking.
  • Talthum Bow: This Hero Relic can be obtained after you defeat the thief during Chapter 16: The King’s Triumphant Return.
  • Thrysus: This Hero Relic is owned by Lysithea and obtained after you complete the “Land of the Golden Deer” paralogue.
  • Thunderbrand: This Hero Relic is owned by Catherine but can also be used by Lysithea. The Thunderband unlocks after you gain access to Catherine by recruiting her in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
